TSS
TSS is a custom inventory management and warehouse operations platform built to connect depot, warehouse and store workflows in one Android application. Icon Tech Studio developed the solution around stock tracking, inventory transfers, quotations and role-based access, with offline-first data handling for operations where internet connectivity is unreliable.
The Challenge.
Managing stock across warehouses, depots and stores requires clear visibility into inventory levels, stock movements and product information. When teams rely on disconnected processes, coordinating these activities becomes more difficult, particularly when they cannot consistently access the same information.
TSS needed a centralized mobile application to organize inventory operations while supporting the different responsibilities of administrators, depot teams and store users. Stock movements, product records, quotations and store requirements needed to fit into a more connected operational workflow.
The application also needed to support essential inventory workflows when connectivity was unavailable. This required an offline-first approach that could store transactions locally and synchronize changes with the central system when a connection became available.
Our Approach.
We began by mapping the operational roles and the inventory workflows each team needed to manage, using these requirements to structure the application's navigation, permissions and day-to-day activities.
We structured the application around Admin, Sub-Admin, Depot and Store roles, organizing access to the relevant operational functions according to each user's responsibilities.
We implemented an offline-first data workflow using local storage and queued synchronization. This allows supported transactions to be recorded without an active connection and synchronized with the central system when connectivity returns, making offline operation part of the application's underlying design.
The Solution.
TSS brings inventory tracking and warehouse operations into a single mobile application built around the needs of depot and store teams.
Teams can manage products and variants, record incoming and outgoing stock, transfer inventory between locations, monitor stock levels and review inventory movement records. These functions help organize stock-related activities within a shared operational workflow.
Beyond inventory control, the application supports store requirements, depot operations and quotation preparation. Quotations can include customer details, pricing, discounts, tax and multi-currency values, with options to export and share the resulting documents.

The Results.
The platform is designed to manage a large product catalogue across warehouse and store operations, with inventory records organized for stock tracking and movement.
The first production phase established a working foundation for the client's mobile inventory and operations workflows within a reported four-week development cycle.
The Excel import workflow supports bulk product and stock data handling, helping teams manage inventory information through structured spreadsheet imports.
Inventory movements, store requirements and quotation preparation are organized within the application, bringing several operational activities into one mobile workflow.
